Problem started after getting tuneup. Car does not shake or tremble. It simple shut off whenever I stop but not every time I stop. Yesterday it shut off two times(traffic lights) and four times while I was parking the car. Today it only shut off once at a traffic light.

Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Also, check to make sure the throttle position sensor and idle air control valve are plugged in.

Let me know.

I took my car back to the mechanic. They repaired it and did not charge a fee. I think they replaced a hose.

Thanks!

Most likely they knocked off a vacuum hose or damaged one when they did work on it. I'm glad it's fixed. Let us know if you have questions in the future.
