1993 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

MY INSTRUMENT PANEL IS OUT. WHEN I PUT IN A NEW FUSE, IT BLOWS. THEREFORE MY PANEL IS DARK. IS THERE A SOLUTION THAT WILL HELP ME TO LIGHT UP THE DARK IN SIDE AT NIGHT? PLEASE HELP ME FOR THIS IS MY ONLY MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION.

Does the fuse blow immediately? Or does it blow when the headlight switch is turned on? If it blows when the headlights or parking lights are turned on, replace the switch. If it blows immediately, there is a wiring issue where a power wire is shorted to ground.
