1989 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Automatic 130000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
During the day my car starts and runs excellent. But after it's cooled off at night it won't start........it turns over like it wants to start......but won't.

We thought it might be the fuel pump at first but then it started the next day. Tried that night and it wouldn't start.

Now I'm wondering if it could be the starter......is there a switch or something that could be bad? We live in a very humid area........could this be part of the problem?

Any ideas? I've tried calling the Ford dealer mechanics and several others and no one has ever heard of this before. The car only started this two days ago...........it ran all winter without problems in the coldest weather.
Thank you.

The same thing happened to me today. If anyone could let me know what is wrong that would be great.
