1986 Ford Crown Victoria Automatic

I got a 1986 ford crown victory my transmission went out i put a new one in and i have the transmission lined up right but the only thing is that the flywheel will not turn what am i doing wrong.

Hi there,

The torque converter may not be fully engaged in the pump drive, withdraw the transmission and while supporting the torque converter spin and push at the same time, don't push hard just enough for the splines & drive to engage fully, it will slide in with a clunk when home, try this.
