Engine Performance problem
1986 Ford Crown Victoria V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car skips and the spark plugs that I just put in about a day ago came out smelling like gas and are burned real bad. Also the car sends black smoke out the tail pipe real bad.

Check the engine coolant tenp sensor, and the fuel preesure regulator, it's on the fuel rail, pull off the vacuum hose and if there is any gas in the hose, replace the regulator.
