Starter removal and installation

Hello

I have a 1999 Ford Contour 2.5 V-6 (Non-SVT). I need to replace the starter on it. What are the steps to do this. I need as much detail as possible. Do I replace it from under the hood, or from under the car? What all needs to be removed to get to it?
