noise when i turn

i have a 98 contour with 110,000 miles on it and every time i turn the wheel to the left(started about a month a go and getting louder) i hear a slight humming noise and when i turn to the left even more it gets louder and the noise it comming from the right front tire area. last year i had the left front inner tie rod replaced and it didnt make that kinda sound. any ideas of what it might be

If you are going 35mph or faster, it could be the wheel bearing...

Depends how handy you are, the knucle must come out then there are 3 bolts on the inside then tapping it out without damaging the aluminum casting! Tricky but not real hard! If you do it the last step...torqueing down the axle nut is critical, 200 ft lbs! or you wasted your money and time!
