Ford, Contour, V-6, 1996, 38K.

ABS light on. Brake mechanic cannot read code or find problem yet.

Three times when coming to a stop the light will go out, car feels like it will not stop, but does in time. Makes a grinding noise. Light then goes back on.

No other problems known.

Bad sensor? Bad connection? Or what?

Wife just said it happen four times today!

Slight correction to the symptoms, the light goes out, the brakes seem to be grabbing with a slight growl, and then there is a complete stop and then the light comes back on after about 3-4 blocks.

Shop closed now, but thought he said he pulled all wheels.
