2000 Ford Contour speed sensor change

How do I change the speed sensor in the transmission. I have been told it is bad.

Hi! Your speed sensor is located on the side of the transmission. First, of course, disconnect your battery before working on anything electrical. Locate the sensor and unplug the connector -should be a 3-wire connector. Remove the sensor from the tranny. Installation is the reverse of removal. Have fun!
