I am attempting to replace a head gasket. So far I have the valve cover off, timing belt removed and one camshaft out. The other camshaft has some sort of bracket holding it on. The bolts to remove the bracket are behind the pulley to that camshaft. There is a bolt on the center of the pulley but when I try to remove it the camshaft just spins. I am lost on what to do next. Can you please help me to get this other camshaft out?

Hi There,

Often a cam will have a boss that you can hold with a spanner, it will often just look like a cast part of the cam, check it out see if there is one on it.
