Engine Performance problem
2000 Ford Contour 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

When gas tank is less than 1/2 full engine runs rough and car has no power. With full tank of fuel problem doesn't exist. Could this be a fuel pump problem.?

check the fuel pressure with a check guage with full tank and with tank when about 1/4 full. what do you notice? same or different?
