my name is white and i have a 99 ford contour and i was driving down the road and the battery light came on and 2 hours later after running errands. I had stared and stopped the car over and over and the battery light never went off and now the car started stalling in all the gears the engine brake kicks on and off in all the gears. all of my lights inside my car stopped working along with the speedometer and the tacometer. and all this happened right after i took the cars original radio out and now when i hook that radoi back up it doesnt work either. oh and now the car takes about 30 min after it shuts off to crank again what is wrong? it also smeled like the wires were melting...
