1999 Ford Contour Car gone crazy.......

1999 Ford Contour 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My '99 Contour went crazy this morning. When I started the car this morning it cranked fine but all the dummy lights in the dash came on, the wipers came on, even with the switch off. I can not get the car out of park, and the tach needle goes up and down. The car runs and sounds fine or normal. I disconected the battery for awhile but did not fix the problem. What the hell? Any help will be great, Thanks, Shawn

If all the lights came on, did you check to make sure the serp belt didn't break?
