i just changed my power steering pump but now it is leaking power steering fluid real bad someone said it could be my rack and pinion, but someone else told me that it would not cause it to leak. i know nothing about cars. is there anything else that it could be?

clean area of leak
fill system and ask a helper to turn the steering all the way and hold it while you try to locate the leak
