1998 Ford Contour speakers

1998 Ford Contour, 100,000 miles, 2.0L. My two rear speakers stopped working. All I had was R front speaker working, now it is not. What is your opinion of source of problem? What steps can I take for troubleshooting? Thank you. airbornemacr

take a extra speaker that you kn ow works and hook it up if no power then move your way up to the radio. take the radio out and in the back where the speaker wires come out wiggle the harness will hte speakers work if so buy a new wire harness for the speakers.
