1998 Ford Contour Automatic

my driver side window goes down, then refuses to come up. Can I repair this and how?

It sounds like you may have a faulty switch or short in wires going to switch. Test the switch to ensure it is getting power when switching down and up positions. If power is not there when trying up, switch needs replaced or wires need repaired.
