1997 Ford Contour temperture read high

Temperture gauge reads high. At the very end of the normal scale that is when the fan comes on.

What you can try first is to check the anti-freeze level, but you must wait till the radiator cap is not hott is must be cold before you go and open it. If you can not see any green anti-freeze in the radiator this means that anti-freeze is leaking out somewhere. If you have any problems you know where I am. Good luck hope to hear back
