1997 Ford Contour, the running lights, dash lights and license plate light do not work. The brake lights and headlights do work. I've replaced all the fuses and fuse box, headlight switch, and double checked that all the bulbs are good, yet still no running lights.

check the dimmer switch, also be sure that the dimmer switch isn't off or all the way down low. Check the drl relay. Usually located right at the headlights.

Hello,

There is a fuse #10 20 amp fuse that may have gone out which powers the circuits in question. Here is a guide to help you start testing.

Here are the headlight and running light wiring diagrams with the instrument cluster wiring as well so we can see how the system works.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know what you find.

Cheers, Ken
