1996 Ford Contour 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160k miles

I have a 96 ford contor i was driving down the road one day didn't run out of gas or anything. The car just died well there is no gas circulating. Would it be the Fuel pump or did the fuse go out and would you know what fues it is and where is the fuel pump.

It could be the fuel pump. Unlike most cars where you have to drop the tank to get to it, this is accesible from the back seat. Take out the back seat the there is a rubber cap to the tank, take that off and you should see the lid for the tank. Under that is the fuel pump.
