1996 Ford Contour Dipstick missing

My son has a 96 ford contour 2.5 v6, the transmission dip stick is missing. We found one at a junk yard in a 4cyl, 2.0, contour, will that work okay?

Hi there,

It looks as if there is only one transmission fitted to these cars so i feel it will be OK.
