MY CARS OVERDRIVE IS BLINKING AND WHEN I DRIVE IT, IT WONT GO INTO GEARS RIGHT AWAY AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS THE TRANSMISSION BY A MECHANIC BUT TOLD IT MAY BE A TORQUE CONVERTER BY SOMEONE ELSE. I CANT TELL WHICH ONE IT IS

First of all we need to find out what codes your transmission has. They will be stored in memory. Unfortunately you will have to bring it to a repair shop to do that.

Is there any signs that each will show when they are going? My cars overdrive light is blinking and when I drive the car feels and sounds almost as if it were in neautral but than it will kick in and feel fine. Are those signs leaning towards transmission or torque converter?

Well with the light flashing im thinking more of a shift solenoid or pressure switch
