Noises problem
1995 Ford Contour 4 cyl Manual
My car has been in the shop for minor things and the latest was a busted heater hose. I noticed the other day a very dull noise and couldnt quite place it. Over the next few days, I havent drove it anymore then I have to, I have noticed when I start the car there is no noise. I place it in reverse and the noise is almost unnoticeable. Once I begin to driver, especially after driving a while, it makes this horrible grinding noise. I can feel it under my left foot. When I stop, the sound dies down a little. There has been a squeaking noise for a while when I come to a stop. The front brakes were just changed. Could the problem be my back brakes? If so, would the grinding noise continue even when Im not touching the brakes? Any other ideas?
