1993 Ford Cobra 5.0L Cobra problem

My cobra hesetates when I switch gears. almost like it's starving for power. Once I get it up in good RPM's the power plains out and it runs fine. Could this be an 02 problem. Also the engine shakes a little at stop lights because of this issue.

scan it for codes first before replacing exspensive sensors that may not help if you change them. then change the fuel filter and check for fuel pressure....
