I am considering taking the 4wd parts and motor/tranny off of an 85 bronco II 4wd and putiing them under an 87 ranger xlt long wheel base 2 wd truck body. Both came with v-6's. With just casting an eyeball, it looks feasible, and may just bolt up. Anybody know if the parts are interchangeable?

Anything is possible but I think this one may not work because of the 4wd problems including a complete front end swap. I would look for something better to do. It could be a year expensive project. Good luck
