Hi I have a 92 full size bronco eddie bauer edition with roughly 211000 miles on it. I need to know how I find out what size and type of axle I have on the front because I'm told the passenger side axle is bent. This is because I just put in brand new superwinch manual locking hubs and whenever I engaged the 4x4 i would hear a grinding noise. When I pulled the hub apart just to look at it my hand was covered in powdery metal that fell out of the inside. I asked a friend of mine and he said it could be bent.

I've looked all over the repair manual and the truck manual that came with it and I get nothing. I don't see any pins or tags on the arms or anything showing what they would be. I really want to get this fixed and don't want to put in another hub just for it to be ground to shreds. Thanks for your time.

If they flicker, it is a connection problem. Loose connection or bad connection.

No I haven't yet, I have to wait till the parts get in since the local stores don't have them. But I ordered the shroud and fan and everything so I'm hoping it fixes it.

you could have a bent axel but are you aure the bearings and races were good and were not over tightned or too loose if there are no tags I think think you cna measure the ring gear I manage for Oreilly Auto parts
I will look up the axel and see what options there are and how to tell the difference and get back to you tomorrow evening it will be around 6pm when I get home
