I have a 1987 bronco II with about 136000 miles on it. The problem I have is that I have fuel flow through the in line pump and fuel filter. I also have spark to the plugs. I repalced the coil and ignition module last year. The last time I ran it was last winter and know when I try to start it, it doesn't fire at all. Thanks for the help, I am trying to get it ready for this winter.

Engine turned off. Take the air induction hose off & spray starting fluid directly into the throttle body with the throttle plate open(you might want someone to step on the gas pedal or you could pull the acclerator cable back). Close the throttle plate. Put the hose back & start the vehicle with your foot on the gas pedal all the way down.
If you do get it started.....don't let off the gas...hold it at around 2500 rpm for abt 2 mins.
You might also want to consider adding a fuel stabilizer treatment into the gas tank.
Hope this helps...Good luck!!!!

I just tried tried the starting fluid and it still didn't work. It just keeps turning over and doesn't even act like it is going to fire. I know I had spark to the plugs, but I am going to repalce them anyway. If you have any other suggestions please let me know. Thanks for the help. rod
