bronco steering

79 full sixe bronco.4x4. hard to steer.. replaced p/s pump 3 times .rebuilt gear box.. still no power assist any ideas thanks

Do you have over size tires or has the truck been lifted up, if so the stock pump or gear box might not be able too handle over size tires. I had this problem with my 79 ford f350.
