Sir, I currently have a problem starting my 86 Bronco II, Eddie Bauer edition, 92k. Began changing the cheap parts and still nothing. Started w/ the distributor cap and rotor. Checked the plugs and previous owner said they were brand new. (I have only had the car for 3 months) Then went and got a new engine module. Nothing; found out then their was no spark. Changed the ECM and finally got a spark but still no turning over. Checked the fuel line and its getting fuel. So...., what now I ask? Friend told me to check the TSP? Is this the right direction.

Please Help

You say that it is getting fuel but when you first turn your key can you hear your fuel pump running, if it isn't it is either your fuel pump or the fuel relay under your hood in the black box to the right ( might be in different location on BII

Thanks, but no cigar.

Fuel pump and fuel relay both good to go. It turns on when you first turn the key and it turns on again when trying to crank. Thanks though.

Rangermaniac,

Okay, let me give you more background. Car was running fine. One day was low on gas, like real low, and we got hit w/ about 6 inches of snow. The next day I went out to start it b/c i knew it would not be good to have the cold weather so little gas. The car started. As I was clearing the car of snow and letting it warm up, it died. Could not re-start. Waited awhile as it may have flooded.

Put in a little bit of gas. It started and stayed running until for two blocks and it died. Luckilyl next to a gas station. Decided to put 2 more gal of gas since i had my can with me. Car would not start. Got somebody to tow it back to the house. While being towed I cranked it again to see if it would start. It did....for 20 secs! Have not been able to start it since.

Just more info. Thanks for the help too.
