I went to start my truck today and when i turned the ignition it just clicked once. I checked the battery cables and cleaned just to do so. I had power to my truck, ie the radio and lights worked. I tried starting several times and every time it just clicked once. Finally it started. What might my problem be?

I'm thinking your solenoid.
when your car doesn't start, try to jump the solenoid. If your car starts as a result, replace your solenoid.
