1996 Ford Bronco Smell

I have a rubber burning smell coming from the drivers side rear left tire, and my truck is not running as smooth as it normally does, please help

Check to see if the tire is rubbing, if not then check the wires under the vehicle where the smell is coming from. Burnt rubber and a rough running engine indicates to me that an oxygen sensor wire may be burning up. Inspect the O2 sensor wires carefully.
