1996 Ford Bronco keeps stalling out

When I first start the truck it runs great, once it heats up is when the problem occurs. When I come to a stop I have to slam the gas pedal all the way down to start moving again otherwise it will stall out. When it stalls the only way to start it back up is to push the gas pedal to the floor while I turn the ignition. In some instances when I've stopped somewhere and turned off the vehicle, it wouldn't even start up again until it was cold. I've already tried re-placing the air idle controller valve and that seemed to fix the problem for about a month or so but now its gotten worse.
