1996 Ford Bronco hard shifting

The bronco seems to 'hesitate' before shifting into gear and also shifts very hard when accelerating. Any tips/ideas would be great! Thanks.

I know I will get slack for this but it works. Put a teaspoon of brake fluid in your transmission.
