take and disconnect the harness for the pump key on, guage should show full or empty.
ground it out ont he vehicles chasis it shoudl show the opposite of before.
if needle doesnt move then the guage in the dash is broken or the wiring harness is damaged , if it does move then the sending unit in tank is broken.
