I have a 1996 ford bronco with 150000 miles. It runs very well except when I go up a steep grade. It does not miss or anything. I just lose power to the extent that i'm able to go only 40+ mph on a 4 lane. Around town I would not know anything was wrong. What could the problem be?

It could be a few things. First, check the catylatic converter to make sure it isn't plugging. Also, I would recommend checking fuel pump pressure.

Let me know what you find.

Someone else told me the same things. I got it fixed and it was the catalytic converter. It was clogged. Thanks for the reply.
