i went off roading went through puddle water came over hood drove right out engine stalled. Started back up sounded bad. towed home changed plugs and oil. Also distributor cap turns over but wont fire up. Battery is weak have tried jump starting with smaller battery. what else might be wrong?

check wires and coil
make sure you have the correct firing order
charge battery
week battery will cause flooding
