1995 Ford Bronco BANGING SOUND FROM REVERSE

My bronco makes a banging sound when taken out of park. Sometimes during take off under normal conditions will get a banging sound from trans. Happens while hot or cold out. Was told that could be torque converter, also was input shaft. Was also told was front pump was going bad. Trans shift fine all the time. Just happens during described times. Visually inspected saw nothing damaged. Thanks for the help.

Is the bang combined with a jerk? Check your U-Joints on your driveshaft and make sure all the bolts are tightened. It's probably time for new U-Joints.
