1993 Ford Bronco more info

i have done some reserch and i have come up with some info my bronco has a E40D class transmission and acording to my repair book thes stille transmissions have a locking torque converter and if i am reading it corectly if a sensor goes bad the torque converter will lock would this cause my truck not to start and if so also where would the sensors be located

Try disconnecting the TCC solenoid and see what happens. Dunno the exact location of this solenoid only thing I know its located within the valve body inside the transmission it has one wire to it and its purple and yellow.
