Hi, Ive been having problems with my electrical systems lately like for instants i would be driving at night and my headlights turn off and back on repeatedly and i know if i don't do anything about this problem i can get a ticket or into a accident can someone please help me.

Change your Headlight switch, Also check and clean all the contacts before you put it all back together.

When they get old and worn various points of resistance increase. Such as the connectors and solder points becoming loose, corroded etc.

As these parts are more resistant to electrical flow they produce more heat.

When the switch overheats, it thermals and turns off. Once it cools back down the headlights turn back on until the switch overheats again. Over time they begin to cycle sooner, stay off longer and then nothing at all....which is not good.

Switch is like 13 bucks at your local parts store.
