1992 Ford Bronco white smoke

My truck starts up and has its normal little whit smoke. As its warming up probaly like 2 minutes later the white smokes gets thicker. It dosent seem to overheat. I know the gaskets are probaly it but how can u test it before taking it apart to see if its the head or block.

do a compression test on each cylinder .. if you let me know the exact engine size (ie.) 5.0L/5.8L .I can give you the correct compression spec's ....

its a 5.0 the motor seems to run fine but i think thats what im gonna do.

ENGINE COMPRESSION
Check engine compression at specified cranking speed with engine at normal operating temperature, all spark plugs removed (on dual plugs, remove exhaust side only) and throttle wide open. Ensure crankcase is full and oil is of correct viscosity. With compression gauge installed, use remote starter to crank engine.
Crank engine at least 5 revolutions, and record highest reading. Repeat procedure for all cylinders using approximately same number of revolutions. Lowest compression reading should not be less than 75 percent of highest compression reading. No cylinder compression reading should be less than 100 psi (7 kg/cm2 ).
