About two weeks ago I noticed a slight vibration coming from what I thought was the transmission. Then about a week ago it became much worse. Here lately I've heard "clunking" sounds from the vicinity of the rear end. Also two dummy lights came on and stay on continuously. The "brake" and the "rear antilock". What is it?

I would start by checking the rear brakes and making sure there isn't too much play in the axle itself. There could be a bearing in the differential or the axle that is causing the problem. Also, make sure the u-joints on the drive shaft aren't loose.

Let me know what you find.

.I ended up replacing the number 6 u-joint and the sensor on top of the rear axle that has to do with the rear brake anti lock. Fixed it right on up.
