This sounds stupid but where is the Ecm located on my 91 Ford Bronco? Its 302 5.0L Eddie Bauer Edition. Thank you

Hi, the ECM is normaly located at the near the ebrake lever, the harness comes to the fire wall and is disconnected from there, the mounting bolts are under the hood as well. But he ECM is removed from under the dash near the ebrake lever. Please let me know.

Your right but to be a little more clear. Its behind the kick panel, you have to pull out the plastic clips to get the panel off. But I would disconnect the wiring harness first. Thats under the hood. On the drivers side. Its a rectangular object, that is to the right of the main (round) wiring harness. It has one bolt that you have to remove to seperate it from the wiring harness. Then remove the panel on the inside of the vehicle. You should see one bolt holding the computer in place. Reverse the order to install. I hope that helps. And I hope I didn't step out of line by putting in my two cents, so to speak.
