1990 Ford Bronco engine is missing when accelerating

I have replaced the spark plugs,plug wires,dist cap and rotor what should I try next the coil? It is still missing and chuggingalthough not near as bad.Also read here about disconnecting egr valve I will try this ,what is an easy way to check the coil without a meter?still missing and chugging I unplugged the egr valve and it didnt seem to make a difference.Added gunk out injector cleaner to fuel will see if that makes a difference.What else do you suggest that I try or do ?

unplug egr valve. you can buy a spark checker for a few dollars that will let you know the output of it, around 25000 volts.

I added some gunk out injector cleaner to fuel will see if this helps. Could this missing and chugging be due to a vacumm line leak or similuar,catalitic converter or maybe timing chain.I dont know gettin frustrated dont want to cause more damage?what do you suggest I try next?
