My husband thought he was gtabing the oil in the garage and grabed powerstering fluid he put it in the engine were you put the oil we drained it know what do we do the car was never started we noticed and drained it

It should be fine, just refill with the right oil. Tranny fluid is sometimes used to clean the engine. Just DO NOT ever make this mistake with the brake master cylinder, or you will spend MANY $$$ to fix!

If you never started the vehicle and drained the oil / PS fluid out, I recommend putting fresh oil in with a new filter and run it for about 100 miles and then changing the oil and filter again. That way you are sure to have gotten all of the PS fluid out. Everything should be fine.
