HAVE NO FIRE TO SPARK PLUGS. ALREADY REPLACED DISTRIBUTER WITH PICKUP AND MODULE INSIDE. START SOLENOID AND IGNITION COIL. PROBLEM IS ERRATIC. HAVE BEEN WORKING ON THIS ABOUT 3 MONTHS. IT HAS DONE THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND I CANT SEEM TO PINPOINT THE PROBLEM. ALSO BACKFIRES SOMETIMES WHILE DRIVEING. PLEASE HELP

Maybe the EEC-IV on fire wall common intermittent problem in that era Ford.
