i have replaced plugs, wires, cap and rotor, module on distributor, coil and capacitor on coil with no improvement.
when i start the truck...it starts easily with key in the start position. as soon as i let the key go to the run position it quits.
once in a while the truck starts like new and runs for about 15 min.....then back to where it will start....but not run.
i thought about the resistor(22K OHM) in the run circuit, but discounted that because the truck does run once in a while.
any help would be appreciated.
thank you.

Have you checked the ignition switch itself?
