The hesitation/cut-out generally occur above 2,500 rpm to 3,000 rpm when accelerating. The revs drop up to 500 rpms and only last for a second or two and then the engine comes back and will continue to rev. It does not happen every time, but often. We have replaced the fuel filters and the fuel pressure at start is 40 psi, dropping to 30 psi. We have replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires. This has happen before and after trans rebuild and in any gear. I am wondering about the ignition module, tps, temp sensor. It occurs when engine is fully warmed up. There does not appear to be any misfire. The rpms, tach and engine just drop out for a second or two and then they all return. Does not seem to happen at steady speed, only when accelerating.
