Heater problem

when i turn the heater on in my bronco 2 air is moving thru but this terrible smell comes thru the vents...it smells like hamster cage and the windows are all fogged up...i noticed a white cloudy vapor coming thru the vents as well...what is the issue and how can i get it fixed?
