1987 Ford Bronco Possiible coolant in oil.

1987 Ford Bronco V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic unknow miles

Ok this is going to be a multipart question. 1) How would i tell if there is coolant in my oil? 2) My truck '87 Bronco has a hard staying running when i first start it, and there is usually white smoke at first start up, what/why could that be? 3) When idling at stops it acts like it wants to die, what could cause that?

I really hope you can help me out.

White smoke during initial cold start could be caused by condensation and also not warming engine up properly before moving it.

How to tell if it has water-get a aluminum foil pull the dipstick or drain a little and put some on the foil heat it up if it starts crackling it has water make sure its not just condensation/moisture.
