1987 Ford Bronco oil pressure

Hello,
my bronco seems to run fine but the oil pressure runs pretty low. When its cool the needle runs at the low normal and when its warmed up and you let it idle it will run at the bottom line and the engine light comes on. It uses very little oil and does not smoke
