The engine loops at idle speed.
What are the specifications for the cylinder compression?

as long as its over 100 and the lowest cylinder is no more then 30% less then the highest.

i.e highest is 100 lowest has to be 70 or more.

i would suspect a vaccum leak causing your problem.

to check it spray the vaccum lines with brake cleaner and monitor the idle. if idle changes thers a leak. also spray the gaskets and air intake hose also
